Physical Properties of Matter

| Celsius (C) | a unit of measure for temperature |
| Condensation | the change from gas to liquid |
| Fahrenheit (F) | a unit of measure for temperature |
| States of Matter | one of the forms of matters |
| Water Vapor | water that has changed into a gas |
| Mixture | a combination of two or more substances that keep their own properties |
| Evaporation | the process by which a liquid changes to a gas |
| Float | to stay on top of a liquid or a gas |
| Force | a push or pull that causes an object to move, stop, or change direction |
| Heating | to make or become warmer |
| Magnetism | the pulling force of a magnet |
| Mass | the amount of matter in an object |
| Matter | anything that takes up space and has mass |
| Physical Property | a characteristic of a substance that can be observed or measured without changing the substance |
| Sink | to drop to the bottom of a liquid or gas |
| Temperature | how hot or cold something is |
