Stratified Random Sampling total pop. is divided into demographic groups and then a certain % of each group is randomly selected for questioning
Multistage Sampling 1st random selection stage, researcher randomly chooses natural groups and gets names of all people, then in 2nd stage researcher randomly selects a certain % of people in the selected groups
