| Scrubbed | To clean by rubbing or brushing hard. |
| Listening | To pay attention so as to hear. |
| Stunned | To cause one to become dazed or unconscious. To shock. |
| Knitting | To create a garment, blanket, or the like from a strand of yarn, by looping stitches together by hand on large needles or by using a machine. To connect or grow together very closely. |
| Carpeting | A heavy fabric for covering floors and stairs. |
| Wandered | To move about from place to place without having a goal. To stray from a place, group, or subject. To follow a winding course. |
