Scrubbed To clean by rubbing or brushing hard.
Listening To pay attention so as to hear.
Stunned To cause one to become dazed or unconscious. To shock.
Knitting To create a garment, blanket, or the like from a strand of yarn, by looping stitches together by hand on large needles or by using a machine. To connect or grow together very closely.
Carpeting A heavy fabric for covering floors and stairs.
Wandered To move about from place to place without having a goal. To stray from a place, group, or subject. To follow a winding course.
Gathering A group of people; meeting; party: We had a family gathering to celebrate grandmother's birthday.
Beginning The start of something. The first part of something
Skimmed To take off something from the top of a liquid. To move over quickly and lightly. To glance over; read quickly.
Chatting A friendly, informal conversation.
Shrugged To raise the shoulders to show doubt or lack of interest
Bothering To disturb or upset. To take the trouble to do something.
Whipped To hit with or as if with a stick, strap, or the like. To move or pull quickly and suddenly. To beat something, such as cream, until it is foamy. To defeat.

Answered To respond; reply to something.
Upsetting To tip or knock over; overturn. To make sick. To defeat unexpectedly.
