Terms to know when researching

| reliable | consistently good in quality or performance; able to be trusted. |
| bias | prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair. |
| primary source | first or highest in rank or importance. |
| secondary source | next after the first in order, place, time, etc. belonging or pertaining to a second |
| paraphrase | restating or rewording. |
| plagiarize | to take and use ideas, passages. |
| objective | something that one's efforts or actions are intended to attain or accomplish. |
| fact | something that actually exists; reality; truth. |
| opinion | a personal view, attitude, or appraisal. |
| dialogue | conversation between two or more persons. |
| debate | a discussion involving opposing viewpoints. |
| unreliable | unable to be trusted. |
