plasma a form of matter that has no volume or shape but has electric charges
solid a form of matter that has a specific volume and shape
liquid a form of matter that has a specific volume, can be poured and takes the shape of its container
gas an invisible form of matter with no specific volume or shape; spreads to fill up the container it is in.
