What does custom mean? A traditional and widely accepted way of behaving or doing something that is specific to a particular society, place, or time.
France has a particular custom, what is it? Kissing both close loved ones and new acquaintances on the cheek.
What do the Russians practice every September 12? The government has instated a public holiday created solely to give couples time off from work in order to have sex in the hopes that doing so will result in pregnancy.
why do the Russians have that custom? This is because the declining birth rates of the country coupled with the unequal proportion of women to men and the alarmingly short lifespans of Russian men pose as serious concerns for the society.
United States has an odd custom, what it is? It is its intricate tipping culture. Tipping is rather mandatory at most restaurants in the U.S.
Which is the effect that has tipping culture in the waiters and waitresses? Gives an incentive for waiters and waitresses to provide better service.
Why can not you point with your index finger in Malaysia? This gesture can be seen as incredibly offensive.
What does finger Malaysian use to point thing? They use the thumb finger, because is more polite.
Why do not some countries use their left hand to give objects or do other activities? Using the left hand for eating or other activities is considered quite rude and insulting.
