Points of View

TermDefinition
First Person The narrator is the main character in the story. They are telling you their story. Story uses words like I, ME, MY, WE
Second Person Told in the voice of the onlooker, which is you, the reader.
Third Person Omniscient The narrator knows what each character is thinking and feeling in the story - They are all knowing. Story uses words like HE, SHE, THEY
Third Person Limited The narrator/character only knows the thoughts and experiences of a few characters. Story uses words like HE, SHE, THEY
Point of View How the narrator and/or character(s) sees things during the story.
