Latitude The lines that run horizontally on a map
Longitude The lines that run vertically on a map
Northern Hemisere The Northern part of a map that is seperated from the South by the Equator
Southern Hemishere The Southern part of a map that is seperated from the North by the Equator
Eastern Hemisphere The Eastern part of a map that is seperated from the West by the Prime Meridian
Western Hemisphere The Western part of a map that is seperated from the East by the Prime Meridian
What is the part of the map that shows the distnce down to scale? The Map Scale
What are the Cardinal Directions? North South East West
What are the Intermediate Directions? Nothwest Northeast Southwest Southeast
Why do we have seasons? We have seasons in relation to the tilt of Earth towrd the sun
How is the relation of the Northern Hemishere different than the Southern Hemisphere? The seasons in the Sothern Hemisphere are flipped to the Nothern Hemisphere (Vise versa)
What kind of growth would a Triangular pyrimid have? A rapid growth (quickly)
What kind of growth would a Beehive pyrimid have? A negative growth (shrinking)
What kind of growth would a Rectangular pyrimid have? A slow growth
What part of the Climograph chart does the temperature read? The line
What part of the Climograph chart does the precipitaion read? The bar
What is a GIS system? A map that has multiple layers of data (that can be removed or added)
