8th Science CH3 Electromagnetic waves

diffraction bending of waves-such as light waves or water waves or sound waves-passing through openings, around obstacles, or by relatively sharp edges
electromagnetic spectrum the entire rage of electromagnetic waves as shown in both frequencies (103 to 1023 Hz) and wavelengths
electromagnetic wave transverse waves that do not require a medium through which to travel and which are produced by an oscillating charge; an electromagnetic wave travels at a constant speed, so its wavelength is inversely proportional to its frequency
radiation transfer of energy by electromagnetic waves
