access (N) the right to enter a place, use something, see someone etc
circumstance (N) the conditions that affect a situation, action, event etc
compassion (N) a strong feeling of sympathy for someone who is suffering, and a desire to help them
eradicate (V) to completely get rid of something such as a disease or a social problem
goodwill (N) kind feelings towards or between people and a willingness to be helpful
implication (N) a possible future effect or result of an action, event, decision etc
intimate (ADJ) private and friendly so that you feel comfortable
overwhelmed (ADJ) feeling something so strongly that the person cannot think clearly
struggle (V) to try extremely hard to achieve something, even though it is very difficult
unexpected (ADJ) used to describe something that is surprising because you didn't realize it would happen
haunt (V) to cause problems for someone over a long period of time
hazardous (ADJ) dangerous, especially to people’s health or safety
squatting (V) to live in a building or on a piece of land without permission and without paying rent
grim (ADJ) looking or sounding very serious
innate (ADJ) describing a quality or ability that you are born with
dichotomy (N) the difference between two things or ideas that are completely opposite
trajectory (N) the events that happen during a period of time, which often lead to a particular aim or result, the path of events leading to that result
millennials (N) a person reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century (born between 1981 and 1996
jeopardy (N) danger
inertia (N) when no one wants to do anything to change a situation
