Student Resources at COM

TermDefinition
Math tutoring lab Provides free walk in tutorials, computer access for online homework,and other resources for COM math students.
TRiO student support services Helps first generation, low-income students and students with disabilities achieve their academic goals.
Counseling Students wanting support with goal setting, problem solving, study skills or communicating effectively, students are also welcome to come and just talk.
Disability services Provides each student with the resources needed to enroll and successfully complete their course work and\or degree plan.
Student life It's to connect with others who share the same interests as you.
Career services Provides you with tools necessary to realize success, both personally and professionally.
Academic advising Advisors can help you select courses to meet your goals, understand core curriculum and access on- campus resources.
Testing Assists students by assessing academic achievement and providing various testing alternatives.
Student financial services This provides financial aid to students wanting federal grants, certain scholarships and work study programs.
Program information This resource provides , scholarships, grants and loans.
Fitness and recreation This provides a place for you to workout at.
Library Gets books, eBooks, articles, streaming media and primary sources.
Speaking, Reading, and Writing center Offers students, faculty members, alumni and staff a variety of academic and job preparation tutoring services.
COM police Provides security for college facilities and assistance to students, visitors, faculty and staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
