How TPACK works

What is TPACK? Framework that combines 3 knowledge areas
What are the areas in TPACK for ? They areas work together to increase student motivations
What are the three knowledge areas? Content Pedagogy Technology
What is the content area? What is being taught to the student, what area IE; social studies
What is the technology area ? Finding which type of technology will assist the student with the content
What is the pedagogy area? How the information is delivered to the student. (Laptop, projector, smart board, ipad)
What is TP? The overlap of understanding technological pedagogical knowledge-making the content more assemble
What is TC? Appropriate technology to the content
What is PC? Identify the appropriate pedagogical content knowledge
What is it called when all three knowledge areas work together? The sweet spot
What is the main objective for TPACK? Meeting student needs.
