| Distribution | The ability of a drug to pass into the bloodstream. |
| Excretion | The process of elimination of medicinal agents. |
| Half-life | The amount of time required for a chemical to be decreased by one half. |
| Inhale | To breathe in; directions used for an inhaler. |

| OTC | Over-the-counter medications that do not require a prescription. |
| Parenteral | Medication introduced other than by way of the intestines. |
| Pharmacokinetics | The life of the drug, which includes absorption, metabolism, distribution, and excretion. |
