Electrical Circuits
| Term | Definition |

| Ohms Law | I = V/R |
| Current | The actual substance that is flowing in the wires |
| Voltage | A force that pushes the current through the circuit |
| Resistance | Friction that impedes flow of current through the circuit |
| Series Circuit | If a single light is out, then the circuit breaks because the electricity can only flow in one way. |
| Parallel Circuit | If a light goes out, the other lights can stay on. |
| Measuring Current | Electrical current is measured in amps using an ammeter in series in the current. |
| Measuring Voltage | The electrical push which the cell gives to the current. |
| Electrical Cell | device, such as a battery, that is capable of generating electricity. |
