| slab | a large, thick, flat piece of stone, concrete, or wood, typically rectangular. |
| peal | a loud ringing of a bell or bells. |
| delicate | very fine in texture or structure; of intricate workmanship or quality. |
| vat | a large tank or tub used to hold liquid, especially in industry. |
| roughhouse | act in a boisterous, violent manner. |
| choppy | having a disjointed or jerky quality. |
| brawn | physical strength in contrast to intelligence. |
| applaud | show approval or praise by clapping. |
| dainty | delicately small and pretty. |
| vigor | physical strength and good health. |
| mope | be dejected and apathetic. |
| husky | strong; hefty. Or (of a voice or utterance) sounding low-pitched and slightly hoarse. |
| wedge | a piece of wood, metal, or some other material having one thick end and tapering to a thin edge, that is driven between two objects or parts of an object to secure or separate them. |
