What does Make-to-order mean? Process triggered by response to customer order
What does Make-to-stock mean? Process triggered by need to increase inventory
What are the 3 Master Data in the Production Process? Bill of material, work centers, product routing
What is a Bill of Material? Identifies components needed to make one unit of finished product
What is a work center? Where the work of assembling the product occurs
What is Product Routing? Defines the steps or operations needed to produce the product
What does the routing list for each operation? Work center where the operation is conducted, time needed for each operation, materials used in each operation
What are the key documents of the production process? Planned order, production order, material withdrawal slip, goods receipt document
