Sensory Adaptation The process by which we become more sensitive to weak stimuli & less sensitive to unchanging stimuli.
Lens part of the eye that adjusts to the distance of objects by changing it's thickness.
Retina A sensitive inner surface of the eye that contains rods, cones, and neurons that process visual stimuli.
photoreceptors neurons sensitive to lights.
Blind Spot the part of the retina that contains no photoreceptors.
Visual Acuity The sharpness of vision.
Complementary Opposite colors on the color wheel.
Cochlea bony tube that contains fluids that move in response the vibrations.
Auditory Nerve The cranial nerve that carries sounds from cochlea of the inner ear to the brain.
Vestibular Sense Gives information about the body position.
