Balanced Forces Equal forces in opposite directions *Object does not move

Net Force Sum of forces acting on object
Force Push or Pull
Newton's First Law An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Newton's Second Law F = M x A Force = Mass X Acceleration
Newton's Third Law For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
Friction Force that opposes motion - (Goes against)
Velocity Speed in a certain direction
Inertia The tendency of an object to resist changes in motion
Speed Speed = Distance divided by time How fast or how slow objects move
Acceleration Speeding up (Speed Increases)
Deceleration Slowing Down
