Parts of Drama
| Term | Definition |

| Drama/Play | Written to be performed by actors on a stage |
| Cast of Characters | The actors in the drama or play |
| Dialogue | Words spoken by the characters in the play |
| Props | Objects used on stage by the actors |
| Narrators | The person telling the story |
| Playwright | the Author of the drama/play, the one who wrote the play. |
| Act | the MAIN sections of a drama or play |
| Scene | Smaller sections in a play, each one of these often changes |
| Setting | the place and time the drama or play is taking place |
| Script | the written dialogue, it's divided into sections/acts, has characters, and a narrator that tells the story |
| Stage Directions | are usually in (parenthesis) and [brakets], it tells the actors what to do |
| Protaganist | the main character in the story, usually the "good guy" |
| Antagonist | the "bad guy" in the story |
