Science
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Bernoulli’s principle | the faster a fluid moves, the less pressure the fluid exerts |
| Archimedes' principle | buoyant force is = to the weight of the displaced fluid |
| Pascal's principle | when force is applied to a confined fluid, change in pressure is transmitted equally to all parts of the fluid. |
| Boyle's law | volume decreases, pressure of gas increases; if temp. is constant; inverse |
| Charles' law | temp. increases, volume increases; if pressure is constant; directly proportional |
| Gay-Lussac's law | temp. increases, pressure increases; if volume is constant; directly proportional |
