Color Wheel A wheel that shows you how to use color
Analogous Colors 3-4 colors that are beside each other on the color wheel
Monochromatic Colors One color mixed with tints and shades
Shade Black is used to make colors darker
Tint White is used to make colors ligher
Complementary Colors Colors that are opposite on the color wheel
Warm Colors Colors located on one side of the color wheel, red, orange and yellow
Cool Colors Colors located on one side of the color wheel, green, blue and purple
Primary Colors Blue, red and yellow
Secondary Colors Green, purple and orange
