Problem Often stated as a question
Research Gathering information in order to make a hypothesis, books and the Internet can be used
Conclusion states whether or not the data supports the hypothesis
Variable The factor changed in the experiment
Scientific Method a way that scientists gather information and solve problems
Data results or information obtained from observations and tests you made during the experiment
Graph a way to display data
Control The factor that stays the same in the experiment. Group used for comparison. Not being tested.
Hypothesis A possible solution to the problem
Observation Made by using the senses and is a way of collecting data
