Lament (V)- to feel or express sorrow or guilt
Relish (N) Liking or enjoyment of the taste of something
Affliction (N) a state of pain, distress, or grief; misery
Purge (V)- to rid of whatever is impure or undesirable; cleanse; purify.
Gorge (N)-a narrow cleft with steep, rocky walls, especially one through which a stream runs.
Talon (N)- a claw
Infamous (ADJ) having an extremely bad reputation
Writhing (V)- to twist the body about, or squirm, as in pain, violent effort, etc
Cowering (V)- to crouch, as in fear or shame.
Taut (ADJ)-tightly drawn; tense; not slack.
Murky (ADJ)-dark, gloomy, and cheerless.
Pilgrimage (N)-a journey, especially a long one, made to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion:
Loathsome (ADJ)-causing feelings disgust; revolting; repulsive
Fetter (N)-a chain or shackle placed on the feet.
Livid (ADJ)-a chain or shackle placed on the feet.
