Physical Fitness state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities.
Agility ability to move quickly and easily.
Balance an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady
Coordination the ability to use different parts of the body together smoothly and efficiently.
Speed the rate at which someone or something is able to move or operate
Power the ability to exert maximum muscular contraction instantly in an explosive burst of movements.
Reaction Time the ability to respond quickly to a stimulus.
Overload an excessive load or amount
Cross-Training the action or practice of training or being trained in more than one role or skill
Aerobic relating to, involving, or requiring free oxygen.
Anaerobic relating to, involving, or requiring an absence of free oxygen.
Warm-Up a period or act of preparation for a game, performance, or exercise session, involving gentle exercise or practice.
Cool Down A period of time at the end of an exercise session when you continue the same exercise, but at a lower intensity.
Resting Heart Rate the number of times your heart beats per minute while at complete rest.
Target Heart Rate the minimum number of heartbeats in a given amount of time in order to reach the level of exertion necessary for cardiovascular fitness,
Progression the process of developing or moving gradually towards a more advanced state.
Specifically in a way that is exact and clear; precisely.
Creatine a compound formed in protein metabolism and present in much living tissue. It is involved in the supply of energy for muscular contraction.
Anabolic Steroids a synthetic steroid hormone that resembles testosterone in promoting the growth of muscle.
Crossfit a high-intensity fitness program incorporating elements from several sports and types of exercise.
