It's the theory that posited that the brain was just like an empty slate, an empty vessel where instruction can be poured into the brain, and somehow magically we would learn it. What is behaviourism?
This theory hinged on language and culture being important for learning. They come to a learning experience with some quantity of information. Instruction happens, beyond that quantity of information in order for them to grow What is social constructivism?
It is a learning theory that postulates that people construct information while going about living in the world. What is constructivism?
It is believed that concrete objects that were built, could be built by the learner. This object was then used for the learner to manipulate to help them think with. The learning culture was every bit as important as what it was that they were learning. What is constructionism?
