Sound Unit

QuestionAnswer
pitch how high or low a sound is
volume how loud or soft a sound is
vibration or vibrate moving back and forth quickly
sound a form of energy that you hear when an object vibrates
loud sound is made when an object is hit hard(with a lot of force)
soft sound is made when an object is hit lightly(without a lot of force)
short distance the volume is louder
long distance the volume is softer
short string vibrates faster and makes a higher pitch when plucked
long string vibrates slower and makes a lower pitch when plucked
thin string makes a higher pitch when it is plucked
thick string makes a lower pitch when it is plucked
tight string makes a high pitch when pulled tight and then plucked
loose string makes a low pitch when loosened and then plucked
amplification making a sound louder
transmitter a source(person or thing) that sound comes from -a sound source
sound receiver an ear or a device that takes in sound
