What is a modified Cleaves method pelvis? AP oblique, bilateral frog.
Position of limb for AP hip medially rotate limb 15-20 degrees unless contraindicated
CR entry for AP hip perpendicular to the femoral neck ( 2.5” distal to PS/ASIS line)
Launstein method lateral hip CR entry perpendicular to hip joint ( midway between PS and ASIS)
Hickey method lateral hip CR entry 20-25 degrees cephalad to hip joint
Cross-table hip alternate names axiolateral or Danelius-Miller method
IR orientation and position for X-table hip IR parallel to the femoral neck with the upper border in the crease above the iliac crest
CR entry point for X-table hip perpendicular to the long axis of the femoral neck
