Fiction Not real
Plot The actions or events in a story, book, movie or play
Climax The turning point of a story
Rising action Introduction of the problem or conflict
Falling action Leads towards problem being solved (fixed)
Exposition (beginning or introduction) Establishes setting and introduces characters
Resolution Conflict is solved. End of the story.
Verse One line of a poem
Stanza lines in a poem grouped together in a poem like a paragraph
Rhythm The beat of the poem
Meter A pattern of stressed and unstressed syllables in a poem
Line break Where the line of text ends in a poem
Rhyme Words that have the same ending sounds in a poem often found at the ends of the lines
