What does the sternocleidomastoid do? Raises and turns head.
Where is the sternocleidmastoid located? On the neck.
What does the temporalis do? Elevate and retracts mandible.
What does the deltoid do? Raises the shoulders.
What do triceps do? Straighten the arm.
What do the external obliques do? Flattens the abdomen.
What does the gastrocnemius do? Bends the leg.
What does the quadriceps femoris do? Extends the leg.
What do the biceps do? Bends arm at the elbow.
What does the pectoralis major do? Pulls arm toward the chest.
What does the sartorius do? Rotates the leg.
What does the messeter do? Moves the jaw.
What do the trapezius and deltoids do? Raise the shoulders.
What do the triceps do? Straightens the arm.
What does the latissimus dorsi (aka "lats") do? Draws the arm up and back.
What does the gluteus maximus do? Extends the leg.
What does the hamstring do? Extends the leg.
What does the gastrocnemius do? Bends the leg.
What do TENDONS connect? Muscle to Bone.
What do LIGAMENTS connect? BLB; Bone to Bone.
What is cartilage? A cushion between bones.
What is also involved in moving a muscle? NERVE TISSUE
