figurative language language that uses words or expressions with a meaning that is different from the literal interpretation
personality the set of emotional qualities, ways of behaving, etc., that makes a person different from other people

compromise a way of reaching agreement in which each person or group gives something that was wanted in order to end an argument or dispute
