Light waves

light wave study cards for the definitions.

TermDefinition
Crest Top of the wave or high.
Trough Bottom of the wave or low.
Transverse wave The direction the wave is moving.
Frequency Number of waves that pass through.
Amplitude The distance between the waves.
Wave legnth Its too trough or too crest.
Light is... Light is Energy that you can see.
Reflection is... An object the bounces back looking like a body or is light that bonces off the objects.
Refraction is... Is the bending of light rays that occurs when a new medium is entered.
Color Spectrum is... Colorful lights that a prism with have rainbow.
ROYGBIV is... all the colors of the rainbow with the first initial of the color.
