Light Waves

Light an energy we can see
Reflection to bounce light off of an object
Refraction the bending of light rays as they enter a new medium
Color Spectrum The visible color from shortest to longest wave.
ROYGBIV RED ORANGE YELLOW GREEN BLUE INDIGO VIOLET
Crest top of the wave
Trough bottom of the wave
Wavelength the length between the troughs or crest
Frequency the number of troughs or crests
Amplitude how high the crest is from the middle of the wave or how low the trough is from the center of the wave
Transverse Wave The WHOLE wave by itself
