C-I C-I: No Med Purpose, Highest Abuse Potential, Research Only C-I: LSD, Methaqualone, Heroin, Mescaline, Psilocybin, and Marijuana
C-II (Narcotics) C-II: Narcotics w/ High Potential for Abuse, but Can be Prescribed C-II: Narcotics: Dilaudid (Hydromorphone), Dolophine (Methadone), Demerol (Meperidine), Oxycotin (Oxycodone), MS Contin (Morphine), Percocet (Oxycodone w/ APAP)
C-II (Stimulants) C-II: Stimulants w/ High Potential for Abuse but, able to prescribe C-II: Stimulants: Ampetamine (Adderall), Methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta), Methamphetamine (Desonxyn)
C-II (Depressants) C-II: Depressants: High Potential for Abuse but, can be prescribed C-II: Depressants: Amobarbital, Secobarbital, Pentobarbital
C-II (other) C-II: High Potential for Abuse, but able to be prescribed C-II: Cocaine
Schedule III C-III Narcotics Contianing less than? C-III: NMT 15 mg Hydrocodone and/or NMT 90 mg Codeine
C-III C-III: L.T. 15 mg Hydrocodone, NMT 90 mg Codeine C-III: Vicodin, Lorcet, Tussionex, Codeine w/ASA or APAP, Steriods: Winstrol (Stanozolol), Halotestin (Fluoxymesterone), Benzphetamine (Didrex), Mixtures: Containing barbitals, dronabinol, or Ketamine
Schedule IV Drugs Not as Addictive as C-III, but more addictive than C-V... C-IV are Weaker Narcotics, Depressants, Stimulants, Anoerexians
C-IV (Weak Narcodics) Contains Narcotics but lower Potential for Abuse C-IV Narcotics: Propoxyphene (Darvon), Butorphanol (Stadol), Pentazocile (Talwin N-X)
C-IV (Weak Depressants) Lower Potential for Abuse C-IV Depressants: Benzodiazepenes: [ Xanax(alprazolam), Valium(diazepam), Ativan(lorazepam), Halcion(triazolam)] Meprobamate, Paraldehyde, Cloral hydrate, Phenobarbital, & Ethchlorvynol
C-IV (Stimulant) Less Potentail for Abuse C-IV (Stimulant): Pemoline
C-IV (Anoerexian) Less Potential for Abuse... C-IV (Anoerexian): Piet Pills = phentermine, diethylpropion, mazindol, & sibutramine
Schedule V Drugs Contain Limited Qnty of Certain Narcotics & Stimulants, mostly antitussives, antidiarrheals, and analgesics C-V's: NMT 200 mg Codeine per 100 (g or ml)
C-V C-V are Lowest Abuse Potential C-V's: Robitussin AC, Phenergan w/ Codeine, and Novahistine DH
