Waves and light

What is light? Light is energy that you can see.
What is reflection? Reflection is when light bounces off objects.
What is refraction? Refraction is the bending of light rays as they enter a new medium.
What is the color spectrum? The color spectrum are the colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and. violet. Or Roy g biv.
What is a crest? The crest is the high point of the wave.
What is the trough? The trough is the low point of the wave.
What is wave length? Wave length is the measurement of the two crests or troughs between them.
What is frequency? Frequency is the number of waves- crests or troughs- that pass a point in a certain amount of time.
What is amplitude? Amplitude is the distance between waves mid-point and its crest or trough.
What is a transverse wave? A transverse wave is a wave in which the crests and troughs move at right angles to the direction of the waves travel.
