Who proposed the idea of atoms being the smallest particle of an element? A Greek philosopher named Democritus.
How did the Atomic theory grow? Atomic theory grew as a series of models that developed from experimental evidence.As more evidence was collected, the theory and models were revised.
What was Dalton's theory? Dalton thought that atoms were like smooth, hard balls that could not be broken into smaller pieces.
Who found a pattern in the Periodic table? Mendeleev. He noticed that a pattern of properties appeared when he arranged the elements in order of increasing atomic mass.
How is the periodic table arranged? A periodic table is an arrangements of elements showing the repeating of their properties.
