| Motion | If its distance from another object is moving |
| Distance | The length of a path between 2 points |
| Displacement | The length and direction that an object moved from its starting point |
| Vector | A quantity that consist of both magnitude and a direction |
| Scalar | Measurements that have magnitude, or size, only. |
| Speed | The distance an object travels per unit of time |
| Velocity | Speed in a given direction |
| Acceleration | The rate at which velocity changes with time. |
| Energy | The ability to do work or cause change |
| Kinetic Energy | Energy that an object has due to its motion |
| Potential Energy | Stored energy that results from the position or shape of an object |
| Gravitational Energy | Potential energy that depends on the height of an object |
| Elastic Energy | The energy of compressed or stretched object. |
| Mechanical Energy | Kinetic or Potential energy associated with the motion or position of an object |
| Conservation of Energy | The principle of starting the energy is not made or destroyed but is altered from one to another |
| Work | A word that describes what is done on an object when a force is extended on an object that causes it to move |
