| extrinsic motivation | the motivation that comes from outside influences. |
| learning style | a unique approach to learning based on an individual's strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. |
| multiple intelligence theory | explain that individuals have varying academic strengths |
| linguistic intelligence | learners who learn through speaking, reading, and writing. |
| bodily kinesthetic | learners who learn through hands on activities and body movement |
| intrapersonal | learners who learn best on their own. |
| interpersonal | learners who learn best with a partner or in group settings |
| natural | learners who learn best with the use of nature or living things. |
| visual spatial | learners who learn through the use of pictures, video, or models. |
| logical mathematical | learners who learn through the use of numbers, sequences, and patterns. |
