| Ovum | Sex cell, Gamate. An egg within a follicle in the ovary. A mature ovum is released during ovulation. |
| Estrogen | Secreted by the ovaries. Produces the secondary female sex characteristics (broadening of pelvis, soft/smooth skin, pubic hair, breasts, fat butt, sexual desire, ovulation, menstration) |
