Differentiate To identify the differences between things.
Identify To establish or recognize the identity of.
Table salt A crystalline compound, sodium chloride, NaCl, occurring mostly as a mineral or a component of sea water, and for seasoning food and as a preservative.
Baking soda A white crystalline compound, NaHCO3, with slightly alkaline taste, used in making beverages, pharmaceuticals and fire Extinguishers.
Chemical formulas Tells us the number of atoms of each element in a compound.
