What is TPACK? The framework to understand and describe the kinds of knowledge needed by a teacher for effective pedagogical practice in a technology enhanced learning environment.
What are the 3 major areas of TPACK? Technological, Pedagogical, Content
What is Mendeley? the tool that allows us to work together as researchers
Define "Content Knowledge". Teachers’ knowledge about the subject matter to be learned or taught
Define "Pedegogical Knowledge". Teachers’ deep knowledge about the processes and practices or methods of teaching and learning
Define "Technological Knowledge". Knowledge about certain ways of thinking about, and working with technology, tools and resources
Who is Punya Mishra? Mishra is one of the two theorists who developed the TPACK model
What are "Ideas Videos"? They are short, two-minute, digital videos designed to evoke powerful experiences about educative ideas
What is TPACK an acronym for? Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge
What does the TPACK framework highlight? the complex relationships between three forms of knowledge: pedagogical (PK), content (CK), and technological (TK)
How does TPACK play a role in the classroom? It brings together the elements of teacher knowledge and technology to further enhance the learning experience.
