Peristalsis Process of smooth muscle contractions that propel urine through the ureter
Nephron Microscopic functional unit of the kidney
Electrolytes Substances that have a positive or negative charge and conduct electricity when dissolved in a solution.
Bladder Expandable reservoir for storing urine
Glomerulus Network of intertwining capillaries within bowmans capsule
