TPACK Vocabulary
| Term | Definition |

| Pedagogy | the method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or theoretical concept |
| Content | things that are held or included in somethings, information about topics or subject, information found in a book or document |
| Technology | collection of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services |
| Knowledge | facts, info, and skills acquired by a person through experience or learning |
| Content Knowledge (CK) | the facts, concepts, theories, and principles that are taught and learned in specific academic courses |
| Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) | a type of knowledge that is unique to teachers, and is based on the manner in which teachers relate what they know about teaching, to their subject matter |
| Technology Knowledge (TK) | knowledge of certain ways of working with and thinking about technology and using the tools and resources of technology |
| Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) | a framework to understand and describe the kinds of knowledge needed by a teacher to understand that technology and content influence one another. Teachers must also be able to master multiple subjects at once and have a deep understanding of the content |
| Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) | an understanding that teaching and learning can change when different technologies are used |
| Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge(TPACK) | framework to understand and describe the kinds of knowledge needed by a teacher for effective pedagogical practice in a technology enhanced learning environment. |
