| prediction | Using text evidence to make an educated guess of what might happen next |

| third person omniscient/omniscient | The narrator tells the story using pronouns like he/she/they knowing all the thoughts of all the charactersl-knowing perspective. The knowledge is not limited by anye character’s view or behavior, as the narrator knows everything about all characters |
| third person limited | The narrator restricts his knowledge to one character’s view or behavior. |
| first person | The story is told from a personal perspective from a main character using I, me, and you. |
| objective | Telling the story revealing only the actions and words without knowing the inner feelings or thoughts of other characters |
| narrator | Telling the story from a third person perspective or first person perspective |
| exposition | The beginning of the story where the characters and setting are introduced. |
| resolution | The end of the story where the major conflict is solved. |
| climax | The most exciting part of the story where if the character changes the story changes. |
| rising action | Where the main character faces incidents leading to a series of conflicts. |
| falling action | Events leading to the end of the story. |
| rise | A series of events that builds from the conflict. |
