epidemic (n) - an occurrence in which a disease (or something harmful or unwanted) spreads very quickly and affects a large number of people
population (n) - the number of people who live in a place; a group of people or animals of a particular kind that live in a place
popular (adj) - liked or enjoyed by many people; accepted, followed, used, or done by many people
populist (adj) - relating to a political party that claims to represent ordinary people
congregate (v) - to come together in a group or crowd
gregarious (adj) - enjoying the company of other people
segregate (v) - set apart from the rest or from each other; isolate, or divide; to separate groups of people because of their race, religion, etc.
egregious (adj) - very bad and easily noticed
