punch method Filling of capsules by hand with powdered medication premeasured
levigate to make into a smooth paste of into a fine powder depending on the agent used
triturate to grind or crunch powder such as a tablet into fine particles
Flocculation The process by which a solute comes out of a solution in the form of flakes or precipitation; the solute then can be filtered out of the solution
Emulsification to make into an emulsion or bind together
syrup a sugar based liquid
