The Nervous System

QuestionAnswer
What is your brain? It is the control center of your nervous system.
What are neurons? They are nerve cells.
What are nerves? They are groups of neurons that pass along information.
What is your spinal cord? It is a tube of nerves that run through your spine.
How long does it take for your brain to make a decision? Under a second.
What does your brain do when it makes a decision? It sends information down the spinal cord to the part of your body you want to move and tells when that part should move.
How do the sense organs in your head connect to your brain? The sense organs have nerves that connect directly to your brain
What are your 5 senses? Seeing, Hearing, Tasting, Smelling, and Touching.
