The parts of a story that help lay out the beginning, middle, end.

Term	Definition
Rising Action	Beginning of a story where we learn characters and plot.
Climax	The high point of the story where main problem or event happens.
Falling Action	After the climax, when parts of the story are explained.
Resolution	End of story where all pieces fall together and problem is solved.
