What is amplitude? | A measure of how far particles in the medium move from their rest position |
What is wavelength? | The distance from any point on a wave to the next identical point on the same wave |
What is frequency? | The number of waves that pass a point in a given amount of time, usually one second |
What are Hertz(Hz)? | One hertz is equal to one wavelength per second |
What is wave speed? | The speed that waves travel wave speed = frequency x wavelength |
What is power? | The rate at which work is done |
