The Skin

The Skin
3 layers of the skin- dermus, epidermis, & subcutanious
Dermus-
**outermost thinnest layer, it contains fibroblast. They are responsible for secreating collagen, protiens, and elastin.
*melanocytes- Responsible for pigmentation *maintains body temp (98.6 F)
Subcutainious-(Hypodermus)
Stores adipose tissue (fat) & connective tissue (ex:muscle to bone)
