Tech 8: Week 2

Extrude Feature used to give a 2D profile depth by pushing or pulling the sketch
Chamfer A small angled surface formed between 2 surfaces
Browser The screen interface that shows project history and tasks applied to the part
Ribbon The screen interface that organizes all user operations such as extrude, revolve, and sketch. Also known as the tool belt
Part Inventor file used to create individual solid features
View Cube The screen interface used to change viewpoints or navigate around a part or features
Work Place Operation used in Inventor to select surfaces or coordinates to sketch on
Assembly Inventor file used to join and constrain parts together
